Globalstudies

For many years Babel Guesthouse was the home for Norwegian Tourism students. In cooperation with the Norwegian School of Hotel Management, we offered our students the chance to take part of their Bachelor Degree in Siem Reap, and specialise in Responsible Tourism. The students got a wider understanding of their studies by physically visiting operators who focus on Responsible Tourism. Also, by contributing to the local society themselves, for example by collecting money to our fund through garbage-picking events, the students learned by doing - not just learn by reading theory.

Groups from all over the world

Throughout the entire year, we host various groups from all over the world that we teach about Responsible Tourism and our big problem with Plastic Pollution in Cambodia (and the rest of the world).
