Babel Siem Reap: Sustainable Boutique Hotel & Guesthouse

Promoting Responsible Tourism since 2008.

Experience our two unique locations

  • A bedroom with a white bed, tropical pillows, wooden furniture, a window with curtains, and a view of rooftops outside. There is a bathroom with a toilet and potted plants visible through the open door.

    Babel Guesthouse

The social choice. An authentic, family-friendly atmosphere where community and sustainability meet in Siem Reap.

  • A modern hotel room with a large bed, beige cushions, a framed artwork on the wall, and a balcony with outdoor furniture and greenery visible through large windows.

    Babel Boutique Hotel

Our upscale, intimate villa. As recommended by the New York Times.

More Than a Place to Stay

Since 2008, Babel has been about more than hospitality. We run an education program for our staff and tuk tuk drivers, partner with Friends-International on child protection, and support healthcare, sports, and anti-pollution projects across Cambodia through the Solhaug Fund.

When you stay with us, you become part of that story too.

Doing Our Part

Experience

We want your stay to be comfortable, easy, and genuinely good for the planet. Everything you really need is here — and anything extra is waiting for you in our Eco-Shop, where we stock sustainable, locally made products instead of single-use plastic amenities.

Environment

We are not perfect — but we work hard every day to do better. From glass-to-sand recycling and soft plastic repurposing, to bamboo straws, refillable amenities, and community clean-ups, we are constantly finding new ways to reduce our footprint in this beautiful city.

Sustainability

For us, responsible tourism means looking after the people around us — not just the planet. Our staff and tuk tuk drivers benefit from fair wages, English lessons, skills training, and scholarship opportunities. When you stay with us, your money stays in the community.
